To help keep the memory of a truly awesome historical building alive. It was unfortunately demolished last summer (1903 – 2008) – This was one of my favourite buildings in town, it was so very special!!

Beyond Mystic Point (Paintograph) ©2008 Carol Cooper
This week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by LAKE SUPERIOR! – the biggest fresh water lake in the world, (by surface area). Lake Superior’s many mystic moods unfold in the famously changing northern weather. It’s colours change from a shimmering deep azure blue to green to gray. . .
“Smell the sea and feel the sky,
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic”
Weekly FFF’s will be filed in the New Works Gallery under the BOZZETTO album for future reference.
p.s. “Mystic Point” is an imaginative destination, not to be found on any map.

Crab in my Garden ©2008 Carol Cooper
I found inspiration for this weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) from two sources. First, Crabby people in department store check out lines - hey CHEER UP!! you’re in front of me and not at the end of the line
) Secondly, this paintograph was based on a photo I took while visiting my Mum, and guess what, it was of her pretty little flower garden which had a bright green plastic crab stuck in among the leaves.
oops . . . I kind of stuck it in the photoshop blender for fun!!!
Weekly FFF’s will be filed in the New Works Gallery under the BOZZETTO album for future reference.

Palisades ©2008 Carol Cooper
Just a little something new I did last night.
Do you ever find sometimes when you look at your photos, that the composition is wonky, or the lighting stinks, and your just about ready to click the DELETE button. BUT somehow the colour pallette is bang on!
Well this is what happened with this particular photo, so I decided to recycle it, and out came Palisades!
