Just having fun playing with variants from the same colour pallette. I have yet to journey into the world of 3D, but in No25a I was trying to achieve lighting on the golden circles that gave a 3D’ish look.

A variant from No17’s colour pallette, as a point of departure. In search of some texture & a more formal structure and WARMTH today, oh my it’s -11C outside already!!
AND . . . speaking of colours, If you are as picky as I am with your COLOURS – here’s a nifty little app that I have been using for the past few years, I don’t know what I would do without it, it’s called ColorSchemer ColorPix
ColorPix is a neat little app that will let you grab the color values and screen coordinates at any pixel on your screen. ColorPix automatically translates any screen color into RGB, HEX, HSB and CMYK color values, and comes with a zoom-able magnifier built in!
It’s coolness is when you are working in Photoshop and you’re trying to match a colour, you simply pop it up and hover over the colour you want to match and it gives you the exact code. I LOVE it!! Also it’s excellent if you are working in Dreamweaver coding a website, I used it quite a bit for that also.
