OPS Series = (Our Personal Space)
I added 3 new works to this series in keeping with my fascination with abstract geometric forms, multi-colour palettes, and the use of various textures. I hope to continue to add to this series this summer, as our local urban cores have much to offer and tons of visual stimulation.
Our Personal Space is an ongoing series where I will continue to explore the abstract of “Urban Cities”, virtual & real, core to suburbs, dusk to dawn, as well as green architecture. Most works will be 16″ X 20″
Slightly larger versions have been uploaded to the gallery album - [LINK TO OPS SERIES ALBUM]
FLAVOURII SERIES

The second series for this month is based on an experiment. From one work I explored & added different flavours to see what the outcomes would be. From a single point of departure! I really liked the colour pallette and it was a pleasant surprise as I was able to keep each work somewhat structured, while letting the composition focus run wild. FUN!!
The 16 works have been uploaded to the Flavourii album in the main gallery. [LINK TO FLAVOURII ALBUM]
CACOTTE MINI SERIES

Prima Corazon ©2009 Carol Cooper
A little mini series of 6 works, again exploring a single seed. A 3D’ ish element was incorporated to see if “Depth” could be visualized. The 6 works have been uploaded to the Cacotte album in the main gallery. [LINK TO CACOTTE MINI SERIES ALBUM]
OUR PERSONAL SPACE SERIES (ongoing)

FOUR POINT SERIES

I enjoyed creating this particular series over the last few months. I think it was the challenge of working with a simple pallette of 4 brilliant colours, each with it’s own strength. A total of 24 works have been uploaded to the series album in the gallery. [LINK TO FOUR POINT ALBUM]
Spring has Sprung, Happy Easter!
Thanks kindly,

Well, this is the last day of “Art Every Day Month” project. Happy & Sad, – sad it’s over – happy because thanks to Leah (and Jul for pointing me to Leah’s blog) I was able to follow up on a personal commitment to focus and create a work of art each and every day for the month of November, 2008 = 30 works in total!
And, I had the priviledge of viewing simply incredible artworks & creative expressions shared by fellow AEDM participating artists. Oodles of inspiration!! I would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to pop by the blog and leave such nice comments and words of encouragement. They are truly cherished! May our paths cross again one day, in the meanwhile I would like to extend “Season’s Greetings” to you and to your loved ones. Artfully yours, Carol

Thank you Leah!

Circles & Squares, geometric elements found in architectural design. If you have a chance, search for “Rose Windows” in Google images. There are so many beautiful ones!!
