This Week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by a mumble-jumble of stuff. Here we go: First, “Mind over Matter” is about having experienced a wicked tooth ache over the weekend, and finding out I had to wait until Wednesday to get it extracted! “Mending Circle” grew from listening to a lady talk about how she cherishes a pair of special socks and how she finds herself darning & mending them prior to wearing them each time. “Darnmending” is about all kinds of things, in reality waiting for the area around my extracted tooth to heal as well as other thoughts that have been fleeting in and out of my mind recently.

Weekly FFF – Title: CeeSpot

This week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by seeing spot run . . . Let me explain )

Earlier this week I was at the bus terminal waiting for my connecting bus to arrive. The terminal is right across from the marina park which faces Lake Superior. I was daydreaming and just letting my eyes wonder around when all of a sudden I focused on a large half ton truck with a back cover on it entering into the park. Once the truck had crossed over the railroad tracks it stopped and the driver’s door opened . . . out jumped Spot ( a big black dog). He ran a bit, then spun around, faced the truck’s door presumably waiting for his owner to come out.

But . . . to my surprise, the truck started to make it’s way driving slowly on the road that circles around part of the park . . . Spot was following, running behind the truck. I could not take my eyes off the dog and the truck. They continued all the way around the circle road and just before exiting the park, the truck stopped, the driver’s door opened, in hopped Spot, the door closed, and off they went.

Since I am not a dog owner, I thought ok, well maybe the dog had to take a wiz, or maybe, just maybe I witnessed my very first lazy dog walker.

I am back now, just flew the coop for a bit.

Weekly FFF – Title: Beyond Mystic Point

This week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by LAKE SUPERIOR! – the biggest fresh water lake in the world, (by surface area). Lake Superior’s many mystic moods unfold in the famously changing northern weather. It’s colours change from a shimmering deep azure blue to green to gray. . .

“Smell the sea and feel the sky,
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic”
