I came upon Didier’s incredible images above in a somewhat odd way. I thought to myself, hum…what if I did a Google Image search with the French translation of the term: Digital Art. And sure enough up popped some fantastic works that incorporated the title or tags “Art Numerique”. Perhaps you may want to try it sometime if you are seeking inspiration or specific research documents that may originate in a different language.

This week I decided to pull some works from 2008 and set up an archive gallery to store them within this blog. If you would like to take a peek CLICK HERE or the permanent tab is located at the top of the blog heading, it’s titled “Archived Series”.
WP Photo Album Plus | Author: J.N. Breetvelt / Rubin J. Kaplan (up to version 1.5.1) is the plugin I am using. I found it quite easy to install and work with. You can even set up sub-albums within a main album. Customizing the CSS is a breeze with the plugin editor found within the WordPress admin section. I truly believe WordPress is one Very Cool CMS framework!
I was surfing this morning and came across a new find: Digital Artist (Magazine). I think I’ll go check and see if they have it over at Chapter’s this weekend. Looks like some great content!

I tried something fun today, and thought I would share it.
It all started with Google images. For some odd reason I typed in the words “Red Paintings” and poof! . . . up came a screen full of brillant “RED” paintings. I did a quick screen capture. I suddenly thought of CMYK and off I went to capture Blue Paintings, Yellow Paintings and finally Black Paintings.
This is how my first screen looked:
then I played a bit and out came . . . screen number two
with a bit more playing . . . out came screen number three
still curious . . . here came screen number four
and finally . . . the final screen number five
I found it was a great little exercise to help the creative juices flow!!
