Weekly FFF - Title: Beyond Mystic Point

Beyond Mystic Point (Paintograph) ©2008 Carol Cooper
This week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by LAKE SUPERIOR! - the biggest fresh water lake in the world, (by surface area). Lake Superior’s many mystic moods unfold in the famously changing northern weather. It’s colours change from a shimmering deep azure blue to green to gray. . .
“Smell the sea and feel the sky,
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic”

p.s. “Mystic Point” is an imaginative destination, not to be found on any map. :o)

Weekly FFF - Title: I Hear You
I found inspiration for this weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) because I believe people can communicate telepathically . . . do you? - Soul to Soul.

Weekly FFF - Title: Pourquoi
This weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by a “reminiscence bump” - a real old tune that I have not heard for many, many years and I came across it this week - “Tell me why”, by Neil Young (After the Gold Rush Album - 1970), it somehow translated into this comforting visual soundscape.
You can listen to an acoustic version here

Another Weekly FFF to add to the bunch. Inspired by those who have lost their dreams. Dreamless nights.
Do they ever return?
p.s. that nasty cold/flu bug is still kicking around, green tea has helped a bit.

Weekly FFF - Title: Madame Zelle

Madame Zelle ©2008 Carol Cooper
This weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by impressions. Do makeup, jewellery and fine designer clothing truly make a woman more of a woman? Madame Zelle seems to think so . . .

Weekly FFF - Title: Enter the Exit

Enter the Exit ©2008 Carol Cooper
This weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) was inspired by revolving doors. I would imagine that at least ONCE in your lifetime you have gone through a revolving door? Who invented it, and why? Could a revolving door be considered an environmental filter of sorts? Can people in wheelchairs go through one? How about if you suffer from claustrophobia? Are revolving doors used solely as an architectural adornment? OR do they serve a greater purpose? Tons of questions! But honestly, if you face the option of going through a revolving door or a normal door, which do you choose? . . . and why? I am always curious :o)
above images from Wikipedia websiteRevolving doors are favoured because they can be used as an airlock to minimize a building’s heating and air conditioning losses.
Something to thinkabout?

Weekly FFF - Title: Urban Chaos

Urban Chaos ©2008 Carol Cooper
This week’s FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) is a statement after viewing a piece of local news that left me somewhat frustrated this week. Sometimes a bunch of nuts just need to get cracked to get to the meat of the matter!!
Nothing personal, just the way I feel . . . rant, vent, etc!!!
On the flip side, it was a GREAT week, I’ll tell you more a bit later! :o)

Weekly FFF - Title: Crab in my Garden

Crab in my Garden ©2008 Carol Cooper
I found inspiration for this weeks FFF (Fresh Flash Friday) from two sources. First, Crabby people in department store check out lines - hey CHEER UP!! you’re in front of me and not at the end of the line :o) Secondly, this paintograph was based on a photo I took while visiting my Mum, and guess what, it was of her pretty little flower garden which had a bright green plastic crab stuck in among the leaves.
oops . . . I kind of stuck it in the photoshop blender for fun!!!
