I came upon Didier’s  incredible images above in a somewhat odd way. I thought to myself, hum…what if I did a Google Image search with the French translation of the term: Digital Art. And sure enough up popped some fantastic works that incorporated the title or tags “Art Numerique”.  Perhaps you may want to try it sometime if you are seeking inspiration or specific research documents that may originate in a different language.

Print on demand Art Portfolios

How cool would it be to have YOUR ART displayed in your very own slick printed magazine!
Talk about professional looking!

I was over at theartblog.org this morning, and came across their post about MagCloud.  Being curious, I clicked over to the MagCloud website to read more.

image from MagCloud website – http://magcloud.com/browse/Issue/53757

“MagCloud started as an HP Labs incubation project to evaluate new, online marketplaces for buying and selling custom and niche magazines with print on demand fulfillment. MagCloud is inventing new ways to bring consumers and publishers together in a web-based marketplace where choice, flexibility and print on demand are the cornerstones of the community.” snippet from their website

What caught my eye is a great new feature they are working on that would make creating your art or photo portfolio a breeze:

“It’s our mission in life to make magazine publishing accessible to everyone, so we are putting the finishing touches on a great new feature that lets you easily turn your online photo albums into a magazine without leaving MagCloud’s website.” snippet from their website
