Most wonderful! What a blithe mood you captured in
‘Zen Moment1 I can’t recall ever seeing a more awesome sunflower shape or mood, although I have seen this form before, it is like it is seen for the first time. So reminded me of the magical green house and garden my Grandmother used to keep yet it has its own presence and beauty.

‘Wait for me’ conveys the human experience right there. So sublime and beautiful, you can almost hear and sense the aliveness of nature in the stillness and wistfulness depicted here. This again is a place I have never been but have knowledge of through the relatedness of nature and the human ‘being’. Sweet and deep.

‘First Floor Please’ is visceral and kind of staggering to me. The beautiful push and pull of the balanced elements conveyed go beyond words.

Just amazed at what it takes for artists to ‘be’ in themselves to enable the physical and mental preparations to apprehend and receive images like this. It first has to settle on the soul as a companion or relatedness/repulsion that attracts, is that right? A state of awareness that is both a part of and observer of the scene or subject that resonates somehow in the artist’s particular awareness. Standing next to you in the same space and time, that whole connection with the subjects may never enter my consciousness, but it does yours, which is a mystery and a miracle. Only you saw and connected with the the works above. Yet the same force that drew you to create these works is drawing me to enjoy them for a beauty you may or may not have noticed in preparing them.

Thank you Carol for all these treasures!

    One Love

While I like all of these images, I have to say that I am VERY attracted to the second picture “Wait for me”.

I have had a warm spot for well done monochromatic pictures for as long as I can remember.

    Thanks for sharing these.

Hi Psiplex, yes you are bang on, it definitely has to settle on the soul first. With all images above, I first saw, I felt compelled, then just had to captured the moment. So happy to hear that you “felt” the sense. Thanks Psiplex, smiles :o)

Hi Kevin, thanks kindly for your nice comment. “Wait for me” is special to my heart for personal reasons. The photo was taken at the spur of the moment as I was walking around a local greenhouse with a friend this summer, the only thing missing from the raw capture was a certain sense of mood, which I then infused. Cheers :o)
