Sometimes a person makes a wish list, and sometimes the items on that list are put on hold for some reason or other. Like I often say . . . Oh Ya, I’ll get it or do it when I win the Lotto!!

Well today I feel like the luckiest person on earth!! No, I did not win the Lotto, but I was gifted by some special & generous people.

I am a member over at BC (Blog Catalog) and over time I have visited & enjoyed quite a few member blogs. Sometimes I subscribe to their email rss as it’s a convenient way to keep up to date with their posts.

A great art, design news & resource blog that I subscribe to is run by Adelle and it’s called “Fuel Your Creativity”.  On Sept. 3 (my birthday..hehehe) I was reading her email post and was thrilled that she was announcing a contest on her blog; a chance to win a $25 credit for ThemeForest, a new site where you can buy and sell site templates and themes to skin popular CMS products like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla.  OOOO I was excited and clicked over to place a comment for a chance to win.

On Friday, Sept.5 I found out I was chosen at random as a winner!! WOW, but that was only the beginning. I checked back on “Fuel Your Creativity” and read that one of the other winners – “styletime” was offering up his $25 credit win as a chance to “double up”!! So, I quickly typed up another comment and thought WOW what a generous person “styletime” is.  Later that same day, I found out I had been chosen to win the “double up” prize. Oh my goodness, I was dancing in my chair again!!

So you see the past few days I have felt like a lotto winner and have this big silly grin planted on my face
