ANNUAL ROADWORKS: STEAMROLLER PRINTS
Each year, in September, prominent local San Francisco artists make prints from large-scale linoleum blocks—carved especially for the occasion—with a steamroller !!
What a brilliant idea! I can just hear it now, calling your local construction company head guy and asking him . . . Hey can we borrow one of your steamrollers for the afternoon? :o) What a hoot!
But seriously, it sure is a great way to educate your community about “printmaking”, and promote local artists! . . .very creative!!
